Designed by sculptor Harry Bertoia for Knoll, the Diamond armchair is a study in space, form and function. Like his contemporaries Saarinen and Mies van der Rohe, Bertoia saw the aesthetic potential in industrial materials, elevating them beyond their traditional utility into works of modern art.
Formed of a polished chrome frame and upholstered shell, the Diamond chair is a classic design that enhances any living room, bedroom or office. The Knoll logo is stamped into the base of the chair.
Materials
The frame is a welded steel construction with rods in polished chrome. Full covers are stretched over the wire seat basket and attach to the seat basket with hooks.
