Eames stools

Originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames as furnishings for three lobbies in New York City's Rockefeller Center, the Stools make attractive companion pieces for many lounge chairs and sofas. Crafted from solid turned wood, the Stools can also be used as occasional tables.///Description
In 1960, the Eames Office was commissioned by Time Inc. to outfit the interiors of three lobbies in New York's Rockefeller Center. As part of this project, Charles and Ray Eames designed the plush Lobby Chairs and a series of solid walnut stools. These turned stools, which can also be used as occasional tables, are differentiated by the distinctive profiles of their shafts.
