Originally developed as a hand-painted custom mural in collaboration with The Future Perfect and first presented at Design Miami in 2015, Fragments uses hand-made pigments derived from Belgian Bluestone, referencing stone tables by Dutch designer Lex Pott. Crushed minerals are transformed into layered washes that shift from deep, earthen greys to atmospheric blues. This exploration of mineral colour and material depth later evolved into a printed collection, preserving the original’s poetic sense of scale and materiality.
