The name âMariposaâ, meaning butterfly in Spanish, refers to the sofa panels' wing-like motion. Thanks to a concealed mechanism, the slim side and back elements can be individually adjusted â continuously and silently â from an upright position to an outward angle of approximately 30° and back again. They offer resistance so that they only move when intentional pressure is applied, allowing the sitter to determine their optimum position.
Mariposa's deep seat and plump cushions welcome socialising, reading and relaxing. It is a functional and stylish sofa well suited to modern family homes.
