Printed Crisis stool

Printed Crisis stool

Designed by Piet Hein Eek, the Printed crisis stool is a low plywood stool with three tapered legs that slot together to form the base. The seat of each stool is printed with the work of artists held in the collection of Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum.///Description
The unique seating collection combines modern wood cutting and printing technology to create a clean-lined stool with the traditionally painted images by Dutch Masters sourced from the museum's collection. By printing directly onto the surface of the seat, using a specialised wood printer developed by Canon, the grain of the plywood shows through the reproduced paintings.

Available in a selection of designs.
